Former Buckeye running back Maurice Clarett, now serving a 7 1/2-year prison term for robbery and gun charges, has asked the Ohio Parole Board and Gov. Ted Strickland for a pardon so that he can earn money as a public speaker and resume “the possibility of a professional athletic career.”
